2013-2014 School Year Events:

• October 4 (6:00pm – 8:00pm) – Movie Night
• October 13 (12:00pm) – Colors of Fall @ Brooklyn Botanical Garden (parent organized meetup)
• October 17 – Picture Day @ TAOTS (dress child in TAOTS uniform — red shirt, khakis and sneakers — even if gym day)
• October 18 – Miss Chocolate Fundraiser – Last Day to submit orders
• October 26 (2:00-4:00pm) – Halloween Party (K-2) @TAOTS
• October 26 (5:00pm-7:00pm) – Halloween Party (3-5) @ TAOTS
• November 5 – Election Day Bake Sale @ TAOTS
• November 8 (6:00pm -8:00pm) – Movie Night
• November 20-21 – 3rd and 1st grade classes will have their PTO Science Enrichment Workshop this week.  3rd grade will make polymer ” Phlubber” and start a crystal garden to take home and 1st grade  will learn how clouds form, identify cloud formations and the weather they predict, watch a tornado spin, and make a anemometer to take home.
• November 22 – Sibling/Retake Picture Request DEADLINE- To schedule a retake or to have sibling photos taken fill out the google doc form . If you have already signed your child up, but know that they will not be in school on December 6th or you are no longer interested, please send an email to admin@taotspto with your child’s name and class. This will ensure PTO parent volunteers are not trying to find your child on that day.
•  November 26 – Thanksgiving Pie Pickup.  For those that placed their orders.  The pies will be available for pick up in the cafeteria at the times that parents indicated on the forms.  The times were 1:30-2:20; 3:20 and 5:00 – 6:00.
• November 29 – Picture Online Ordering DEADLINE Please go to http://stompinggroundphoto.com/.  For more information on how to place your order. All orders placed by either deadline will ship to school for FREE. Orders after the deadline will ship to home for $6.00.
• December 6 – Sibling Picture Day and Picture Day Retake – For those that pre-registered.  See 11/22 deadline above.
• January 24 – Movie Night
• March 30 – TAOTS Fundraising Gala/Auction
• May 9 – Mother’s Day Plant Sale  [Volunteer Sign-up]
• June 13 – Gently Used Book Sale (book collection begins on May 2).  [Volunteer Sign-up]
